Cumbria is a place we’re proud to call home, we feel so lucky to live here. Born in Cumbria, it is a place we hold close to our hearts. Our careers took us throughout the UK and overseas but home is definitely where the heart is. We returned home when we started our family as we wanted to raise our children here. Fast forward several years and whilst on a day trip to explore the Cumbrian West Coast (which included a whistle stop tour of six different towns), we were not only stunned by the beauty of the area but delighted to discover fantastic shops, things to do and places to eat.
As small business owners ourselves, we wanted to do something to help celebrate the many diverse, unique and wonderful things to see and do throughout Cumbria and to help other business owners showcase and promote their businesses to the rest of Cumbria. With this in mind and as a result of seeing many businesses struggle with lockdown, Cumbria Thrive was created.
Cumbria Thrive was born from a passion for Cumbria and a desire to help others.
